CAN THE PRESIDENT OF THE UNITED STATES PARDON TEMUJIN KENSU?
No. Temujin is a state prisoner, which means only the Governor of Michigan has that power.
CAN TEMUJIN APPEAL HIS CONVICTIOIN?
No. Govenor Whitmer has had his clemency papers on her desk for years and without her actually ruling on them, there is nothing to appeal.
WHAT IS "GOOD TIME" AND DOES MICHIGAN HAVE IT?
"Good Time" is a system which allows prisoners to "earn credits" to be released sooner than their given sentence; however, in 1998, the state of Michigan ruled that all prisoners must serve 100% of their sentence. Had that ruling not changed their system, Temujin would have been freed over a decade ago.
IF TEMUJIN GETS OUT OF PRISON, CAN HE SUE THE STATE FOR COMPENSATION?
Possibly. It would depend on the reason he was being released, but how do you determine what an "appropriate" amount of money is for wrongfully taking at least two-thirds of someones life from them (not to mention decades of trauma)?
